Ganderbal, Mar 15 (KNO): Ganderbal Police have been working relentlessly to assist tourists and local commuters stranded due to heavy snowfall and challenging weather conditions in Sonamarg and Gund areas. The special teams as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) have been formed to ensure the safe evacuation of vehicles stuck in snow and provide necessary aid to those in need. Inspector Reyaz Ahmad and SHO Gund Lateef Ali have been praised for their exceptional work during this critical time. “The police are doing a fantastic job in ensuring our safety despite the harsh weather,” said one tourist from Delhi, who was stranded along with a group. Another tourist from Chandigarh added, "We couldn't have asked for more help from the police; their timely assistance has been a life-saver.” Ganderbal Police have urged the public to exercise caution and follow all safety protocols while traveling to Sonamarg, given the unpredictable weather conditions—(KNO)
